Preparing students for their careers

To help prepare for their future careers we provide a variety of programs and elective options for our Secondary School students. With our students going on to university, trade and direct into the workforce they need to be prepared and armed with the necessary information for their success.

Our careers services:
  • Assists students in career planning.
  • Organises work experience for students.
  • Assists students to access information on University and TAFE courses and helping them to apply for these.
  • Organises and presents a careers program for students, developing skills in writing resumes, composing letters of application, telephone and interview techniques.
  • Assists students to understand the law and their rights and responsibilities as it relates to employment including WHS, taxes, insurance, and superannuation.
